Data analytics and reporting

Analytics you can actually trust

Most analytics setups we inherit are broken in the same three ways. Nobody noticed, because a broken dashboard still shows numbers.

What this actually is

Here's the usual story. Someone pasted a tracking code in four years ago. Then the site was rebuilt and half the events stopped firing. Then a consent banner went on and started blocking the tag before it loaded. The graph still goes up and down, so nobody questions it.

We start by checking whether your numbers are real. That means auditing what's being tracked, what's being double-counted, and what's silently missing. Usually something important is missing. Form submissions and phone taps are the two we find broken most often, which is unfortunate, because for most businesses those are the conversions.

Once it's clean, we set up the events that matter for your business specifically. Not the default list. If you're a clinic, that's appointment enquiries. If you're a restaurant, that's directions taps and menu views. Then we report on it monthly, in a document a person can read, not a dashboard link you'll never open.

What it covers

01

Tracking audit

Before anything is changed we work out what your current setup is actually recording. Events that stopped firing after a redesign, conversions counted twice, a consent banner blocking the tag before it loads. You get this written down, with the ones that matter marked, whether or not you carry on with us.

02

GA4 and Tag Manager

A proper configuration rather than the default paste-in. Data streams, enhanced measurement set deliberately rather than left on, internal traffic filtered out, and cross-domain tracking where you need it. Built in Tag Manager so changes later don't need a developer every time.

03

Conversion events

The default event list is built for e-commerce and tells a clinic almost nothing. We define the actions that count for your business specifically — enquiry submitted, phone tapped, directions opened, brochure downloaded — and give each one a value where a value exists.

04

Consent and lawful tracking

India's DPDP Act changed what you're allowed to collect and when. We implement Consent Mode so analytics respects a visitor's choice, with the cookie banner wired to it properly rather than sitting there as decoration while the tags fire anyway.

05

Monthly reporting

A written document, not a dashboard link. What moved, what didn't, what we think caused it, and the single change we'd make next. Short enough that you'll read it.

What you get

  1. 01A written audit of what your current tracking gets wrong
  2. 02GA4 and Google Tag Manager configured from scratch or repaired
  3. 03Conversion events defined around your actual business, not a template
  4. 04Consent Mode set up so tracking is lawful under India's DPDP Act
  5. 05A monthly report written in sentences, with what we'd change next
  6. 06Access to everything, in your name

How it runs

  1. Step 1

    Audit

We go through the existing setup and write down what's wrong with it. You get this even if you don't continue.

  2. Step 2

    Rebuild

Tags, events, conversions and consent, configured and then verified live. We check each one fires before we call it done.

  3. Step 3

    Report

Monthly, in writing. What moved, what didn't, and the one thing we think you should change.

What it costs

How it's pricedProject fee, then monthly

The setup is a one-off. Reporting continues monthly, and you can stop it any time without losing the setup — it's your account.

We don't publish a number for this one, because an honest one depends on the job. Tell us what you're trying to do and you'll get a real figure, in writing, without a sales call first.

Get a figure in writing

Is this right for you?

Probably, if

  • You're about to spend money on ads and want the measurement right first
  • You have analytics but don't believe the numbers
  • You're making decisions on gut feel because the data is a mess

Probably not, if

  • You want a dashboard to look at rather than decisions to make. We can build one, but it won't change anything on its own.

Questions we get asked

Do I need this if I already have Google Analytics?

Probably. Having GA4 installed and having it configured are different things. The default install tracks pageviews and almost nothing else useful. We'd rather audit it and tell you it's fine than have you assume it is.

Who owns the analytics account?

You do. We work inside your Google account as a user. If we stop working together, you remove our access and keep every bit of history.

Is this legal under Indian privacy law?

It is when it's set up correctly, which includes consent handling under the DPDP Act. That's part of the work, not an add-on.
